Detailed Introduction

VPC500H high-speed vertical machining center is a high-tech product of mechanical and electrical integration, developed by our company on the basis of absorbing advanced technology domestically and abroad. The product can perfectly achieve high-speed processing through the breakthrough of speed and precision combination technology, and it can complete the milling, drilling, tapping and surface machining.  VPC500H is highly automatic and can be widely used in electronics, instrumentation, automobiles, motorcycles, military, medical equipment and other fields. Its main features are as follows:


1 Good Structural Rigidity
1.1 Adopt high-strength low-stress cast iron materials and resin sand casting technology for bed, column, bed saddle, spindle box, work table, etc. And after twice of manual aging treatment, it has good stability, high strength and stable and reliable accuracy.
1.2 Adopt large span rail layout and precision grinding on the rail mounting surface, with high combined rigidity, and stability precision.


2 The Main Drive
2.1 The machine adopts direct connection between the digital AC spindle servo motor and spindle. The transmission gap is small, with low noise and high precision. The maximum speed of a standard spindle is 20000rpm.
2.2 The spindle components are provided by the professional producers in Taiwan, and the bearing brand is world-renowned. The spindle is carefully assembled in a constant-temperature plant through over 4h of temperature rise running test at the highest speed, as well as precision dynamic balance correction, to ensure its high-quality.
2.3 The spindle adopts a closed grease lubrication system which is running smoothly. It can also prevent the intrusion of air dust and chip fluid in order that the spindle bearing works in a contamination-free environment.
2.4 equipped with oil cooler, circulating cooling can be adopted to the spindle sleeve to control the spindle temperature rise, effectively protect of the spindle components and extend the spindle life.


3 Feed Drive
3.1 The feed drive system adopts direct link between all-digital AC servo motor and ball screw by coupling to reduce the transmission stages and improve response speed of the movement. The couplings are imported, with high strength and small inertia, to reduce the rotation inertia. 
3.2 The ball screws are imported original Taiwan high-precision C3 screw (X, Y screw φ28 mm, Z screw φ30 mm); it is equipped with imported precision lock nut and flexible coupling, and it is reasonably pre-stretched before installation to eliminate errors in assembly.
3.3 All the three feed shafts adopt high-precision laser interferometer after assembly which can accurately measure the transmission link error and make compensation for the screw pitch and clearance in the system so that the shafts move their positions more accurately to ensure the accuracy of positioning and repeated positioning.
3.4 The three-way feed applies linear guide rail (width 30 mm). The rail span is large, taking into account the carrying capacity and making the machine response speed better.


4 Lubrication System
4.1 The lubrication system is equipped with a centralized lubrication device, which regularly and quantitatively lubricates the guide rail and ball screw. In this way, it effectively protects the screw and the rail components and keeps the machine in high responsiveness.
4.2 The lubrication flow and lubrication time has been adjusted before leaving factory, so the user does not need to change them by himself.
4.3 The automatic and centralized lubrication device has alarm system, which works when the oil level is lower than the set value. At this time, the user needs to add lubricants timely.


5 Machine Cooling, Chip Removal
5.1 The work piece and the machine tool are cooled by high pressure spray coolant. Large flow of coolant is sprayed to cool the tool and the work piece during machining.
5.2 A hand-held dust gun is provided with the machine for the cleaning of cutting chips.


6 Pneumatic System
6.1 The machine uses compressed air to supply air for the machine air-cooling system and manual air guns. Users should bring their own dry, clean compressed air supply, the pressure of which should be no less than 0.6MPa.
6.2 The pneumatic system mainly includes filtering pressure-reducing valve, cylinder, three-position five-way valve, normally-closed two-position two-way valve, check valve and so on. The cooling head at the front of the spindle can be water cooled or air cooled by selection as needed.
6.3 The functions of the pneumatic system are controlled by PLC program through solenoid valve.


7 Machine Protection

7.1 Use a special guide rail protection hood in the machining area.
7.2 The machine is surrounded by a closed shield, with beautiful appearance, clean and tidy.
7.3 The guide rail protection hood guarantees that the cooling liquid and iron chips will be safely and adequately recycled.
7.4 The large shield around the machine and the main covers on surface apply powder spray coating process. The paint is strong and durable for long-term use, and does not fade, which keeps a long-term good appearance for the machine.


8 Machine Tool Library

The machine adopts advanced arm locking library with 16 tools. The tool change is short and reliable, which can greatly improve the production efficiency.


9 Control System
9.1 The machine is configured with FANUC-0I-MF system and its supporting drive, and all motors are α series, which has reliable performance and full-function, and is easy to maintain.
9.2 The machine has a handheld operating unit, with user-friendly operation.
9.3 The main electrical components of the machine are Siemens brand, improving the reliability of electrical control.
9.4 The machine is configured with a standard 8.4-inch color display, with beautiful interface, simple and convenient operation.
